What one verdict covers
Mailbox providers decide where your email lands by checking a measurable layer: can your domain prove who's allowed to send as it (SPF), are messages cryptographically signed by it (DKIM), what happens when something fails (DMARC), can it receive replies and bounces (MX), and does it appear on the blocklists filters consult. Any one of these failing quietly is enough to move real campaigns into spam — and they fail quietly all the time.

What does this email health check actually test?
The domain-level layer of deliverability: your SPF record and its syntax, DMARC presence and policy, DKIM selectors, MX records, DNS sanity, MTA-STS/TLS-RPT, BIMI, and your domain's status on 24+ spam blocklists including Spamhaus. It also detects which sending tools (Mailchimp, Kit, Klaviyo, Google Workspace and 30+ more) are configured in your domain's DNS.
Is it really free and unlimited?
Yes — no signup, no email address, no daily cap for humans. Results for a domain are cached for a day, and requests are rate-limited per visitor to keep scrapers out, which a person debugging their setup will never notice.
How is this different from sending a test email to a checker?
Send-an-email testers grade one message after you compose and send it. This check needs only your domain name and grades the infrastructure every message depends on — so you can run it before sending anything, on any domain you're thinking about.
What can't a DNS-based check see?
Configuration, not behavior: it verifies the records receivers will evaluate, but it can't see the actual route a real email takes, message-level issues, or tools that leave no DNS trace.
