Getting started: from signup to your first verdict

What happens when you sign up, what the instant check covers, and the one thing to do next to get the full picture of your sending.

Last updated 18 July 2026

Signing up is one field: your work email. There is no password. We email you a one-time code, you type it in, and you are in. That's the whole registration.

The email you use matters, and here is why: its domain is the first thing we check. Sign up with you@yourbusiness.com and by the time you see your dashboard, we have already run the domain checks on yourbusiness.com: SPF, DMARC, MX records, DNS health and 24+ spam blocklists. This is your basic health check, and it needs nothing from you.

If you sign up with a personal address (Gmail, Outlook and the like), nothing is broken. You'll just be asked to add a business domain first, because a personal mailbox provider's DNS belongs to the provider, and a verdict on it would be meaningless to you.

What the instant check can and can't see

The basic health check reads public DNS. That answers a lot: whether your records exist, whether they parse, what your DMARC policy instructs, whether your domain is on a blocklist. What it cannot see is behavior: the actual route your campaigns travel when your email tool sends them.

That route is what the full health check discovers, and it's the reason your workspace has a unique test email address. Send a test email (or a real campaign) from every tool you use to that address, and we trace what mailbox filters actually receive: the sending IP, the signatures, the authentication results, the headers. Each tool you send from becomes a sending path with its own score.

Your first ten minutes, in order

  1. Sign in with your work email. Your first verdict is already waiting.
  2. Copy your test address from the welcome screen (it's also always visible in the app).
  3. Add it as a subscriber in each tool you send with, then send that tool's next campaign or a test broadcast.
  4. Watch the paths appear. Each arrival triggers a fresh set of checks and an email telling you what we found.

From there, the dashboard verdict answers the only question that matters first: are you good to go sending, or not. If not, every problem links to its fix.

One more thing worth knowing up front: we keep re-checking your setup on a schedule after this, forever. Records drift, providers change rules, blocklistings happen. When something that passed starts failing, you get an email saying exactly what broke and when. That watching is the actual product; the first verdict is just where it starts. How often we re-check depends on your plan, covered in Monitoring and alerts.
